General Description of Position: Yard maintenance/ housekeeping and organization. Assist with tool inventory and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and organizing equipment yard and shop areas. Check in, inspect, and appropriately tag equipment when units come into the yard.


• Wash equipment and assist technicians with repairs to various types of heavy construction equipment and trucks.


• Help with filling tool requests and deliveries to job sites. Help with maintaining and stocking tools and supplies.


• Fill in for parts runner when needed.


• A yard/tool tech may be responsible for issued company vehicles. Daily inspections of vehicle’s tires, lights, fluids and onboard company equipment and tooling. The vehicle is to be kept in a clean and safe operating condition.

Qualifications:

• A desire to learn and grow.


• Experience in fueling equipment and conducting preventative maintenance services on heavy construction equipment and trucks.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Safely drive and operate company vehicles and equipment.


• Must possess or be able to obtain valid and appropriate driver’s license prior to employment.


• Physical exertion required, includes but not limited to: lift and carry heavy items up to 80 pounds or more, climb and access heavy equipment, stooping, walking and bending.
